The kind of people we want
Writers and editors who can explain a difficulty adjustment clearly and will not overstate what a number proves. People with genuine operational mining experience are especially welcome, because that knowledge is hard to get from specification sheets.
If you write for us and consent to a public profile, you get a real byline with real credentials. We do not attach invented biographies to anyone, and we do not ask writers to publish AI-generated prose under their name. Our standards are set out in our editorial guidelines, and they apply to us as an employer too.

Contributing without a job
We do not run an open guest-post programme, because unmoderated contributor pages exist to sell links rather than to inform readers. If you have a genuine story or a piece of original research, pitch it and we will consider it on its merits.
