These are the standards Cryptocurrency Miners holds itself to. They are written as commitments, in plain language, so you can hold us to them.
Education and data are not advice
We report and we explain. We do not tell readers to buy a coin, buy a rig, or take a position. Nothing on this site is financial, investment or tax advice, and no figure we publish is a prediction. Any page carrying price or profitability content also carries that statement, because a disclaimer buried in the footer is not a disclaimer.
Profitability is an estimate, never a promise
Mining profitability figures are expected values calculated from stated inputs and live network state. They are labelled as estimates everywhere they appear, with their assumptions published in our methodology. When the honest answer is that a rig loses money at a given electricity price, we show the loss.
Real bylines, or an honest collective one
We publish under the Cryptocurrency Miners editorial desk, a collective byline with a human editor accountable for every claim. We do not invent named personas, fabricate biographies, or attach stock or AI-generated headshots to imaginary journalists. We do not publish under a raw administrator account. Named authors appear only when they are real people who have consented to a public profile.
Reviews are research-based, and labelled as such
Hardware coverage is built from manufacturer specifications, public teardowns, operator reports and market pricing, and it is labelled research-based. A hands-on label appears only where a genuine hands-on test happened. We never write that we ran a rig we did not run, and we do not publish aggregate ratings that have no real sample behind them.
Sources are cited and claims are checkable
Factual claims carry their source. Network metrics trace to public block explorers, hardware figures to manufacturers, market data to the feeds named in our methodology. Where a number is derived rather than reported, such as the block reward or the halving countdown, we publish the derivation.
We correct openly
When we get something wrong we fix it and we say so. Material corrections are logged with a date and a description of what changed on our corrections page. We do not quietly edit a mistake out of history.
Commercial relationships are disclosed
Advertising is labelled. Affiliate links are disclosed inline where they appear and explained in full in our affiliate disclosure. Affiliate status never influences a verdict or a number, we do not accept payment for favourable coverage, and we keep affiliate links off safety-critical content.
Editorial prose is written by humans
People write our articles. Our live data is computed by machine from public sources, which is exactly what it should be, and we document how. What we do not do is publish spun or synthetic text as though a person reported it.
What Cryptocurrency Miners will never do
The commitments above, stated as a list we can be held to:
- Publish under invented personas or a raw administrator byline.
- Present education, analysis or profitability figures as financial advice or a guaranteed outcome.
- Claim to have tested hardware we have not tested.
- Publish AI-generated article prose as human reporting.
- Take payment for favourable coverage.
- Hide an affiliate relationship.
- Publish thin, off-brand filler for search traffic.
- Promote guaranteed-return schemes or unvetted cloud-mining offers.
Tell us when we fall short
If you believe we have breached any of the above, write to us through the contact page. That is a genuine request, not a formality.
